Kentucky vs LSU tonight everything you need to know!

The Kentucky Wildcats and the LSU Tigers meet in SEC college basketball action from the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on Tuesday night.
The Kentucky Wildcats will look to create some distance between themselves and the rest of the SEC, sitting atop the standings with a 10-2 conference mark following a 67-62 win over Ole Miss last time out. Immanuel Quickley leads the Wildcats in scoring with 15 points per game while Nick Richards has 14.6 points and a team-high 8.2 rebounds per game. Tyrese Maxey is 3rd in scoring with 13.9 points while Ashton Hagans is averaging 12 points and a team-high 6.7 assists per game this season. As a team, Kentucky is averaging 75.1 points per game on 46% shooting from the field, 31.9% from behind the arc and 78.9% from the foul line while allowing opposing teams to average 69.9 points on 38.5% shooting from the field and 29.5% from 3-point range this season. Kentucky is 5-2 straight up and 5-2 against the spread on the road this season.
The LSU Tigers will try to get back on even terms with Kentucky, sitting at 9-3 in conference play after an 88-82 loss to Alabama last time out. Skylar Mays leads the Tigers with 16.5 points per game while Trendon Watford and Emmitt Williams are tied for 2nd in scoring with 13.9 points per game as well as logging 7 rebounds per game this season. Javonte Smart is averaging 12.5 points and 4.2 assists per game while Darius Days is averaging 11.8 points and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game this season. As a team, LSU is averaging 80.8 points on 47.7% shooting from the field, 31.4% from behind the arc and 77.4% from the foul line while allowing 72.7 points on 41.9% from the field and 34.5% from behind the 3-point line this season. LSU is 13-1 straight up and 6-8 against the spread at home this season.

The underdog is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
I think you could make a case for either one being favored, as LSU has been strong at home, while Kentucky has been the better team up to this point. With that said, the loss to Alabama was frustrating to watch if you were backing the Tigers, and a loss like that isn’t something you want to carry in a matchup with Kentucky. I’ve taken on a strategy over the course of the season, and that’s when you’re getting points with Kentucky, you take them, and it’s paid off more often than it hasn’t this season, and a lot of the times have ended with an outright Kentucky win. The Wildcats are just looking like the team to beat once again in the SEC and until someone proves otherwise, I’m going to take the value where I see it. Give me Kentucky and the free bucket in a game I see the Wildcats winning outright.
