"I want to start off by thanking God for blessing me with great talent & abilities. I also want to thank my mom, dad, grandparents, coaches & many others. Thank you for all the sacrifices made to help me get to where I am today. Through the ups & downs you have all been there for me, guiding & pushing me forward. Thank you & I love you all.

I want to give a special thanks to coach Crabtree. Thank you for always being there for me. Constantly making sure I'm doing what's best for me & helping me become a better student. I greatly appreciate everything you have done for me.
I want to thank all the coaches that have recruited me. I'm so blessed to be in this position & have the options I have. Lastly, I want to announce my commitment to the University of Kentucky. I know for the next 3-4 years this University will help maximize my potential as a student, young man and athlete. I will continue to work hard both in the classroom & on the field. I can't wait to arrive at my new home. #BBN #21Savages," he wrote on Twitter.
Williams is rated a .8639 by the 247Sports Composite and is considered the nation's No. 43 outside linebacker. He held additional offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Arkansas and West Virginia.
